Our History
Happy Paws is run by Teresa Cutler. An experienced dog trainer, dog breeder, and member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT) and the Pet Professional Guild (PPG).
More About Teresa
Our Mission
Teresa worked at a boarding kennel in Madison, WI and also worked as a dog trainer assistant and then as a dog trainer for Dog’s Best Friend in Madison, WI. Teresa was also a member of the Badger Kennel Club and volunteered her time assisting with classes, dog fairs, dog shows, and other club activity.
Teresa is also the owner of Moondance Tamaskans, breeder of the rare Tamaskan Dog and a breeder of a specific line of Alaskan Husky called the Hedlund Husky. These dogs are both working dogs and members of the household.

Teresa Cutler, owner of Happy Paws, Inc. is originally from Madison, WI. During her travels she had the opportunity to visit many amazing places. It was during these travels that Teresa discovered her love for the west and the mountains. After many years, the mountains had called enough and Teresa left her home to follow her dream to work with dogs in the mountains of Montana. After deciding to settle in the lovely city of Missoula, Teresa found her dream property and began developing what would become Happy Paws, Inc.
